Job summary

The GIANT Company in Saint Davids, PA is seeking a deli team member to handle all deli products with care. You will receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, and stock products while keeping displays neat and inviting for customers.

You will deliver exceptional customer service, answer questions, and promote products. The role requires adherence to safety, PPE, and sanitation standards and completion of required training as part of our GIANT family.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties.

• Must be able to use or learn to use deli equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service is an essential component of every position within GIANT/MARTIN'S stores.
• Receive, processes, prepares, wraps, slices, weighs, marks, and packages products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking and rotating product.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions and sanitation of prep areas and equipment.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to the deli area.
• Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions and promote products through suggestive selling.
• Follow PPE requirements and maintain a neat, clean appearance.
