Job summary

The Coborn's Deli team in Minnesota is seeking a part-time Deli Clerk. We provide training; you bring a positive attitude and eagerness to learn while delivering remarkable customer service to guests.

You will slice, weigh, and package meats and cheeses, prepare salads, and serve guests at the hot case where applicable. You’ll maintain stocked deli areas, create appealing displays, and follow food safety guidelines and sanitation rules. Catering orders and other deli duties may be involved.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age or older; Hornbacher's age requirement for this role is 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products for our guests
• Prepare and dish up salads
• Serve food to guests through the hot case (as applicable at location)
• Ensure the deli case and product areas are stocked with merchandise and visually appealing
• Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other department products to be merchandised and sold in the store
• Follow food safety guidelines and all health, safety and sanitation regulations
• Dish washing, mixing ingredients, assembling catering orders baking/frying products
