Maurer’s Market IGA is seeking a Deli Clerk to maintain the Delicatessen Department and provide quality customer service. You will support the Deli Manager and work within store policies to ensure sanitary, attractive displays and efficient product handling.

Responsibilities include assisting customers with slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing, rotating perishables, and helping with inventory and department displays to maximize sales.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to follow directions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of deli products; welcome to learn more and assist customers.

Responsabilités

• Performs duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Greets and serves customers, including slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing products.
• Keeps refrigerated cases and displays stocked and faced according to department standards.
• Displays merchandise neatly and rotates perishable items by date.
• Assists in building department displays to maximize sales and turnover.
• Assists in ordering and inventory control and supplies.
