Sprouts Farmers Market in Deerfield Beach, FL is hiring a Deli Clerk to assist customers and prepare fresh deli items in a fast-paced, friendly environment. You’ll help customers choose healthy options, wrap and present products, and support daily deli operations.

The role requires operating slicers and other deli equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and packing orders, while providing excellent service. Training, flexible scheduling, and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable, reliable and customer-focused.
• Friendly attitude and strong communication with customers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Operate deli equipment and maintain safety standards.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations.
• Work in coolers and freezers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options and prepping meals.
• Ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented neatly.
• Maintain cleanliness, rotate products, and set up displays.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate slicers, ovens, microwaves, scales and related equipment.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary deli area and follow safety rules.
