The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Specialist to ensure deli department excellence, product freshness, and accurate merchandising. You will support inventory accuracy, rotate stock, and assist guests with a welcoming, helpful approach on the sales floor.

Responsibilities include coordinating orders, receiving deliveries, maintaining signage, and assisting with promotions and seasonal events while upholding food safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Follow all policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
