Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Specialist to ensure deli products meet freshness and quality standards, while maintaining proper rotation and dating. You will execute planograms, manage product placement and signage, and coordinate with leadership on ordering and replenishment to keep the deli stocked for promotions and seasonal events.

You will engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor, support inventory accuracy, and help uphold food safety and presentation

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail, culinary, and/or grocery experience.
• Experience with electronic shelf label systems, inventory management technology, or AI-enabled retail tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
