The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Specialist in Florida to deliver deli department excellence, ensuring product freshness, merchandising accuracy, and safety standards. You’ll support inventory accuracy, rotation, and guest engagement while ensuring promotions and seasonal events run smoothly.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ years in retail or hospitality, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Retail, culinary, and/or grocery experience is a plus.
• Experience with electronic shelf label systems, inventory management technology, or AI-enabled retail tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Follow all policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
