Job summary

The Fresh Market Inc. is seeking a Deli Specialist to uphold deli department excellence, ensure product freshness, and maintain merchandising standards.

You will contribute to a welcoming guest experience, support inventory accuracy, and participate in promotions and seasonal events with teamwork and reliability. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in retail or hospitality, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred experience with shelf label systems and inventory tech.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli products meet freshness and quality standards with proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness and follow receiving procedures.
• Support guest engagement and department readiness for promotions and events.
• Follow all policies and sanitation requirements; engage guests warmly on the sales floor.
