Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a deli-focused team member at our Hanover, PA location. You will handle and knowledgeably manage deli products, including receiving, weighing, wrapping, slicing, and stocking products to maintain attractive displays.

Team members provide exceptional customer service, uphold food safety standards, and follow all store policies. This role supports a smoke-free, safety-conscious environment with physical duties such as lifting and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to complete job duties satisfactorily.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service as part of GIANT/MARTIN'S stores.
• Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, and package products.
• Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking and cleaning.
• Maintain proper cooler conditions, rotate and organize cases of product, and clean.
• Maintain prep area conditions, including cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces and utensils.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations as they apply to the deli area.
• Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions, including sweeping and mopping.
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service, answering questions and promoting products.
• Follow company policy on apparel and neat appearance.
• Complete ELM training courses as added to the learning page.
