Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a Deli Associate to slice, package, weigh, and sell deli items while maintaining presentation and cleanliness of the deli area. You will assist members with selections and help keep the department stocked and organized.

Responsibilities include handling deli products safely, inspecting shipments, and ensuring quality and freshness. This role requires teamwork, reliability, and a focus on member satisfaction in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a deli department preferred.
• Experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to Members in the deli.
• Slice, package, and weigh deli products (meats and cheeses).
• Receive, inspect, and rotate deli shipments.
• Keep deli display cases clean and well stocked.
• Ensure products are fresh and meet quality standards.
• Operate deli equipment safely and sanitize surfaces regularly.
• Maintain accurate signage and pricing where applicable.
