Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a deli team member to slice, package, and weigh deli products, ensuring quality and freshness for Members. You will maintain clean displays, assist customers, and support club standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides a high level of customer service to Members. Answers questions and recommends deli items.
• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products, including cheeses and meats. Helps Members select the correct products.
• Receives and inspects deli shipments. Displays, stocks, rotates, and stores deli products following food safety and quality policies.
• Ensures all products are fresh and meet company standards; checks for out‑of‑date items daily and follows salvage procedures.
• Maintains clean and organized deli equipment and surfaces; operates deli equipment safely.
