Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a deli team member to assist customers and prepare deli items in a fast-paced environment. You will slice and weigh meats and cheeses, package orders, and help with special orders and trays. Maintain clean display cases and rotate stock to ensure freshness.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, verifying quality, and upholding food safety standards. A welcoming, team-oriented attitude and adherence to club policies are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli department preferred.
• Experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to Members and answer questions.
• Slice, package, and weigh deli products; help Members select items.
• Prepare and package special orders and party trays; sample products to aid purchase decisions.
• Receive, inspect, and rotate deli shipments; maintain freshness and stock in display cases.
• Clean and sanitize deli equipment and surfaces; ensure proper product handling and signage.
