Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a deli team member to slice, package, weigh, and sell deli products, including meats and cheeses. You will maintain deli displays, assist members, and help with special orders and party trays.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, stocking, ensuring freshness, and following food-safety policies while delivering friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level of customer service to Members and answers questions.
• Slices, packages, weighs deli products and helps Members select products.
• Prepares and packages special orders and party trays.
• Receives and inspects deli shipments and ensures product freshness.
• Maintains clean, organized deli display cases and equipment.
• Cleans and sanitizes deli equipment and surfaces to food-safety standards.
