Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a deli team member to slice, package, weigh and sell deli products, including meats and cheeses. You will help maintain presentation, assist Members, and support club policies and safety standards in a fast-paced deli department.

The role emphasizes teamwork, a commitment to accuracy, and a focus on delivering friendly, efficient service while upholding GOLD standards. Prior slicer experience and knowledge of deli items are valued.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service to Members in the deli.
• Answer questions and recommend deli items.
• Slice, package, and weigh deli products including cheeses and meats.
• Prepare and package special orders and party trays.
• Maintain deli presentation and cleanliness and ensure products are fresh.
