Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is hiring a Deli Clerk to prepare fresh deli items and provide friendly customer service. You will help customers select deli meats, cheeses, hot foods, and grab-and-go options while ensuring accurate portioning and timely service.

You’ll also stock the department, maintain displays, monitor freshness and temperatures, and support a fast-paced environment with safe food handling and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment following training and safety guidelines
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh food and create a welcoming experience for customers; assist with selecting deli meats, cheeses, hot foods and prepared items
• Keep the deli department stocked, clean, and ready throughout the day; monitor product freshness and temperature; maintain organized displays
