Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Deli Clerk to prepare fresh foods and greet customers with friendly service. You will help customers choose deli meats, cheeses, hot foods, and grab-and-go items, while maintaining clean displays and accurate labeling.

You will stock the department, monitor freshness, slice meats on equipment, and assist with orders in a fast-paced environment. Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred; prior food service or customer service

Qualifications

• Customer service and communication skills for in-person and phone interactions.
• Food safety and sanitation awareness appropriate for deli environments.
• Experience handling deli products and operating prep equipment is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh deli items, slice meats, and assemble grab-and-go options.
• Assist customers with selections and maintain a welcoming service flow.
• Stock, label, price, and rotate products; keep displays clean and organized.
• Operate slicers and prep equipment following safety guidelines.
• Process transactions and support the cashier as needed.
• Follow store procedures and prioritize food safety and freshness.
