Job summary

Pilot Company in Burns Harbor, IN is seeking a Deli Shift Leader to supervise team members in the hot deli area and support the Deli Manager in keeping the area clean, stocked, and the food fresh. A basic knowledge of food safety standards and prior foodservice experience are preferred.

Pay rates start between $14.95 and $22.22 per hour. Candidates should be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends, and holidays, with a strong focus on guest service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position, especially with a restaurant or foodservice background.
• Incredible customer service skills & the ability to help maintain a customer focused culture.
• Ability to maintain equipment according to food safety standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact with different levels from hourly team members, customers, vendors, and corporate representatives.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members in the hot deli area.
• Ensure guest service is excellent and the deli area is kept clean and well stocked.
• Assist the Deli Manager by ensuring food in the hot deli is fresh.
