Qualifications

• Experience in deli, restaurant, food service, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times.
• Ability to follow instructions, recipes, portioning standards, and food safety procedures.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and works well as part of a team.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including counter and steam table.
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, prompt service.
• Serve customers from the steam table according to portion sizes and standards.
• Maintain an attractive, clean steam table and service area throughout the shift.
• Monitor food levels and notify kitchen staff when replenishment is needed.
• Assist with food preparation, packaging, labeling, and assembling grab-and-go items.
• Restock food, supplies, condiments, utensils, and other deli items.
• Follow recipes and presentation standards while maintaining food safety.
• Keep counters, tables, equipment, and work areas clean and sanitary.
• Complete routine cleaning and sanitation tasks; rotate and store food properly.
• Adhere to all company policies and manager instructions; assist in other deli duties as needed.
