Job summary

Haggen, Inc. in Washington state is seeking a dedicated deli team member to provide warm, guest-focused service in a busy kitchen and deli area. You will hire, train, and coach associates while coordinating daily plans and weekly schedules to meet business needs.

You will actively participate in food preparation, merchandising, and upholding freshness standards, while fostering a collaborative team environment and supporting loss prevention efforts. Weekend work is possible.

Qualifications

• Guest-focused service and hospitality.
• 1-2 years of department operations experience.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be 18+ and able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly guest care at all times.
• Hire, train, evaluate and communicate with associates including counseling.
• Coach and cross-train associates for future promotions.
• Write daily plans and weekly schedules.
• Demonstrate sales techniques and merchandise products.
• Participate in all phases of food service production.
• Maintain displays and ensure freshness of products.
• Maintain records for damaged merchandise.
• Stay updated on promotions and coupons.
• Work in a team-oriented environment.
• Support loss prevention to ensure safety in the workplace.
• Store is open seven days; may require weekend/holiday shifts.
