Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail experience and knowledge of Asian products preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Basic math proficiency and calculator/ten-key familiarity; comfortable using computers.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate varying shifts.
• Ability to collaborate with team and work independently.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Greet customers, assist with inquiries, and offer recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized deli department; ensure visuals are appealing.
• Adhere to health department and company policies for safe operations.
• Take and fulfill orders with portion control and accuracy.
• Monitor product levels and notify cooks when low.
• Wrap, label, price, log and date products; remove expired items.
• Prepare and package deli condiments for cold and hot cases.
• Operate the cash register following cashier guidelines; keep supplies stocked.
• Continuously enhance product knowledge to improve service.
• Other duties as assigned.
