Job summary

Wadsworth Buehler's Fresh Foods seeks a Deli Support teammate to assist in the Deli Department and assist Food Service Operations as needed. Provides friendly customer service, helps with product freshness, displays and sampling, and supports party trays and catering.

Must be able to lift up to 80 lb and work weekends. Ideal candidates are team players who value dependable, flexible service and can handle busy periods.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 80 lb.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions; basic math.
• Willingness to work weekends and flexible hours.
• Familiarity with deli operations is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and greet customers.
• Maintain freshness and sanitation standards.
• Sell products and provide information to customers; offer samples.
• Fill, rotate, and display products.
• Support restaurant, catering and specialty areas with special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli slicer and other equipment.
• Support all deli functions including prep, production, counter, and soup/salad bar.
