Job summary

Wadsworth Buehler's Fresh Foods is seeking a Deli Support to help maintain high standards in our deli department and assist in Food Service operations. You will greet customers, answer questions, and ensure products are fresh and properly displayed.

This role requires standing for long periods, attention to detail, and a willingness to work during busy periods, including weekends. Training is provided to learn deli procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand, reach, lift up to 50 lb and occasionally 80 lb.
• Able to follow written and oral instructions and simple math.
• Work in a deli/kitchen environment with equipment like ovens, slicers and mixers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions to provide exceptional service.
• Maintain freshness and sanitation standards in the deli.
• Sell products and provide information to help customers make decisions; offer samples.
• Fill, rotate, and display products; support restaurant, catering and specialty areas with orders.
• Operate the deli slicer and other food service equipment.
• Support all deli functions including prep, production and sales support.
