Job summary

NetCost Market is seeking a Service Department Associate to join our Deli team in Philadelphia, PA. You will provide friendly customer service, handle inquiries, and help ensure product quality and display standards.

Responsibilities include merchandising, stocking, rotating and slicing products on the service counter, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace in line with health regulations. Applicants must be 18+ and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service.
18 years or older.
Ability to read, write and do simple math problems.
Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions and solve problems.
Able to work well with others as a team member.
A passion for serving people.
Physical Demands, including standing, walking, carrying, lifting, up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service in a friendly and professional manner.
Merchandising, stocking, rotating and slicing products per customer’s request.
Maintain a clean, appealing and sanitary work area in accordance with Health Department regulations.
Operate deli counter stations and support other teams as needed.
Preserve accurate portioning and packaging to minimize shrink and maximize sales.
Attend scheduled Deli Department and store meetings and adhere to policies.
