Dierbergs Markets is seeking a Deli/Seafood Associate to join our team. You will help prepare quality products, assist customers, and provide outstanding service in a fast-paced deli environment.

Responsibilities include slicing, wrapping, labeling, cooking in warm kitchen settings, and ensuring food safety. This role supports both part-time and full-time opportunities, with weekly pay and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow recipes, charts, invoices and temperature gauges.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Prompt and regular attendance.
• Adherence to dress code, appearance and personal hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service that goes above and beyond.
• Learn and promote deli/seafood products and use suggestive selling techniques.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Work in refrigerated, freezer and hot food prep environments.
• Operate and clean equipment safely per training procedures.
• Prepare and cook products in a warm kitchen up to 500 degrees.
• Follow Safe Food Handling guidelines per S.A.F.E. program.
• Maintain temperatures and prevent cross-contamination.
• Prepare party tray orders and label products.
• Weigh, wrap, and label products.
• Slice meats and cheeses with electric slicers.
• Fill serving bowls with deli salads and place in case.
• Rotate products and check expiration dates.
