Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with High School diploma or equivalent.
• Successful experience in the deli/seafood operation (merchandising, ordering, inventorying, pricing).
• Knowledge of duties of every deli/seafood position, procedures, policies and operations.
• Ability to display initiative with limited supervision.
• Must be ServSafe certified.
• Must read/write/speak/understand English with ability to follow instructions.
• Authorized to work within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide an open door atmosphere and high associate morale with excellent customer service.
• Lead the deli/seafood team and promote a service-oriented image.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards and labor regulations.
• Assist in planning work schedules and budgeting for payroll.
• Oversee inventory, security and expense controls for the department.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints to satisfaction.
