Responsibilities

• Goes with the deli: keep service areas stocked and appealing; greet customers and answer questions politely.
• Operate slicing equipment to prepare meats and cheeses per customer orders; label items with price, weight and date.
• Prepare ready-to-eat foods and platters; ensure proper packaging and signs.
• Maintain sanitation and rotate products per company procedures and health standards.
• Assist with cash register operations and proper money handling; comply with tobacco/alcohol rules.
• Follow safety policies and keep logs; aid in inventory and loss prevention as needed.
