Job summary

Weis Markets is looking for a Deli Associate to support our deli department with great customer service, food preparation, and daily operations. You will greet customers, help with prepared foods, slice meats, assemble platters, and ensure displays are fresh with correct pricing.

Training is provided and no prior experience is required. Maintain a clean, safe work area, follow PPE guidelines, and assist with receiving deliveries or inventory control when needed to help the department run

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or GED.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps Deli service areas well stocked and appealing.
• Smiles and greets customers, answers questions and helps resolve concerns.
• Ensures freshness and correct pricing/signage of merchandise.
• Operates slicing equipment to provide meats and cheeses per customer preferences.
• Prepares ready-to-eat foods and platters.
• Follows safety policies and PPE requirements; performs cash register duties as needed.
