Job summary

Legacy Cooperative seeks a friendly Team Member to support the store and deli, delivering a welcoming experience, accurate transactions, and high-quality food for the community.

You will greet customers, ring up purchases, stock shelves, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with coworkers across cashier, service, and deli duties to ensure a reliable, positive shopping experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn POS and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly service to ensure a positive store and deli experience.
• Complete accurate sales transactions including ringing up purchases and processing payments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store by stocking shelves and following sanitation procedures.
• Support daily store operations such as opening/closing tasks and inventory checks.
• Follow safety, food handling, and cooperative policies to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Prepare, cook, and serve deli items according to food safety standards and daily production needs.
• Work as a reliable team member, communicating clearly and assisting coworkers during busy times.
