Job summary

Martin's Super Markets in Elkhart, IN is seeking a part-time Deli Associate to prepare, display and stock deli products, while providing friendly service to guests. You will bake and fry per production schedule, price and merchandise deli items, rotate stock, and assist with receiving and stocking.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and at least 1 year of retail experience. This position offers a flexible part-time schedule, a retail environment, and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented and accurate work.

Responsibilities

• Baking and frying duties determined by production schedule - 80% of time.
• Price, date, wrap and/or bag deli products.
• Properly fill, rotate, inspect and merchandise deli shelves, cases and displays.
• Notify the Deli Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Assist in receiving, unloading and stocking of merchandise.
• Maintain a clean, attractive and well stocked department.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
