Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a team member for our deli and prepared foods area in West Chester, PA. The role focuses on making sandwiches, pizzas, and other deli items, while ensuring food safety and quality.

You will help with merchandising, labeling, and customer service, supporting the store’s daily deli operations. You will work as part of a team to meet plan‑o‑gram targets, maintain cleanliness, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the role, with or without accommodation.
• Must meet company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift and prepare equipment and supplies.
• Produce deli items and hot bar products per plan‑o‑gram (POG) and SOP.
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors and counters.
• Complete food safety compliance logs daily and track losses (KLT).
• Train team members and assist customers with deli and prepared foods.
• Prepare and package sandwiches, pizzas, and other deli items for display and sale.
• Assist with roasting, frying, and portioning meats and cheeses as needed.
