Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a Deli Assistant Manager to lead the on-site deli and food service operations within the store. You will own execution, lead the team, and drive performance of our fas craves program as a core growth driver and customer experience catalyst.

This role emphasizes operational leadership, scheduling, coaching, and collaboration with Store Management to deliver a fast, friendly, high-quality food experience that keeps customers coming back.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or 21+ depending on state requirements.
• Able to work weekends and holidays, including overnight shifts.
• Read, write, speak and understand English effectively.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must obtain or be willing to obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operations of the deli, ensuring consistent execution of food programs.
• Lead food preparation, presentation, merchandising, and promotional execution.
• Serve as the in-store subject matter expert for all food service initiatives.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing deli team.
• Create and manage deli schedules for proper staffing and peak-time coverage.
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and health regulations are followed.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation.
• Manage deli-level financials by controlling food cost, waste, and labor efficiency.
• Oversee inventory processes including ordering, receiving, rotation, and shrink control.
• Drive sales growth through upselling, promotions, and merchandising.
