Job summary

The GIANT Company in Philadelphia is seeking a dedicated deli team member to prepare sandwiches, pizzas, and other fresh items for display while delivering friendly service to shoppers. You will follow SOPs, maintain cleanliness, restock products, and assist customers throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include labeling, portioning, and managing daily tasks, with emphasis on food safety and efficient operation in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Clear communication of company policies and safety regulations to teammates.
• Food safety certification required every 5 years, and training of new team members.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements and be able to use or learn to use the necessary equipment.

Responsibilities

• Make sandwiches, subs, and wraps; label and display per SOP.
• Make pizza per SOP; operate turbo chef, portion and box for customers.
• Help customers; cut and weigh deli meats and cheeses; portion into containers.
• Maintain grab-and-go items and ensure product labeling and rotation.
