Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Deli Manager-focused associate passionate about teamwork and service excellence. You will help manage daily deli operations, merchandising, and staff engagement at our MacArthur Road location.

Responsibilities include inventory tracking, schedule oversight, labor cost control, and strict adherence to sanitation and safety standards in a fast-paced supermarket environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed or in progress.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience in retail/restaurant/supermarket.
• Ability to follow sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist and answer questions with a positive attitude.
• Maintain product freshness and minimize losses per procedures.
• Support Deli Manager with merchandising, ad execution and staffing.
• Monitor inventories, schedules, and labor costs; train staff.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, health, safety, and labeling laws.
• Support workflow and complete other duties as assigned.
