Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Deli Manager to oversee daily deli operations, ensure product quality, safety, and proper inventory controls. You will lead a team, manage merchandising, and maintain high standards to support sales and customer satisfaction.

The role requires experience in deli or food service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a retail/wholesale environment. Excellent attention to sanitation and compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and product handling.
• Experience leading or managing a team.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily deli operations to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper stock rotation, replenishment, and monitoring of product levels.
• Ensure all deli products are handled, prepared, and stored in accordance with company and food safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring timely removal or disposition of unsellable items.
• Supervise and manage department staff to ensure adherence to company procedures and performance expectations.
• Coordinate merchandising, signage, and product displays to support sales and customer engagement.
• Review inventory trends, shrink, and discrepancies to identify and address concerns.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and internal audit standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the deli department.
