This role blends hands-on work with leadership and administrative duties in a fast-paced environment. You will lead merchandising per plan, assist customers, handle special orders, and ensure safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Operate deli equipment according to company guidelines.
• Proficient with computer applications used in the department.
• Food Safety Certification or the ability to obtain within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Creates an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
• Ensures the department is merchandised per plan and stocked properly.
• Delivers daily conditions that meet freshness, quality and value.
• Offers product samples, answers questions and assists with product selection.
• Ensures customer requests and special orders are fulfilled.

• Maintains compliance with safety and sanitation guidelines.
