Job summary

Winn-Dixie is seeking an experienced Mgr, Deli & Bakery to manage daily deli and bakery operations. You will promote and execute merchandising plans, train staff, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role balances hands-on leadership with administrative duties, including scheduling, inventory management, and adherence to food safety guidelines. Fluency in Spanish is a plus for this location.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Spanish language skills preferred.
• Experience supervising deli & bakery operations preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily deli and bakery operations.
• Promotes and executes merchandising plans to meet company standards.
• Trains and coaches department staff on performance and development.
• Schedules and ensures coverage during peak hours.
• Maintains safety, quality, and temperature control per guidelines.
• Manages inventory, ordering and shrink reduction.
