Gerrity's Supermarkets is seeking a Deli Night Manager to oversee night operations in the Deli department. You will ensure professional and courteous customer service, compliance with policies, and efficient department management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to calculate figures and amounts, such as pounds and weight increments.
• No minimum educational requirement needed.
• Ability to hear, speak, and understand the spoken word.
• Specific vision abilities required: close, distant and color vision with focus adjustment.
• While performing duties, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers.
• Ability to read, write, analyze, interpret and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Competent knowledge of all essential functions for all department positions.
• Assist with achieving sales and gross profit.
• Maintain supplies, inventory and shrink control.
• Comply with Department Ordering Manual.
• Ensure quality, rotation and temperature maintenance of deli products.
• Stock and merchandise all department products.
• Maintain a sanitary department facility.
• Maintain deli equipment in good condition.
• Prepare salads using Gerrity’s approved recipes.
• Organize department areas as directed by Deli Manager/Supervisor/Store Manager.
• Complete required paperwork (A/P, logs, ads).
• Communicate department goals to staff and monitor attainment.
• Perform other duties as directed by Deli Manager.
