Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Food Service Supervisor/Deli Lead to direct all activities in the deli and food service department and its staff, ensuring merchandising, sales and guest service goals are met. The role requires leadership, coaching, scheduling and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Qualified applicants have at least 2 years in fresh foods, are able to lift 25 pounds, and may hold Serv-Safe certification.

Qualifications

• 2 years of prior experience in a fresh food environment, preferably in a managerial role.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in cold walk-in coolers.
• Serv-Safe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct department personnel and meet goals, coordinating with store management.
• On-board, coach, and schedule all new team members.
• Take guest orders, ensure timely preparation and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee deli/food service preparation and merchandising to standards.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and proper use of equipment.
