Sprouts Farmers Market in Charlotte, NC seeks a Deli Clerk to help customers choose healthy options and prepare fresh meals. You will maintain deli displays, assemble party trays, and operate deli equipment safely while keeping the area clean and compliant with health standards.

The role requires reliable, friendly interactions, ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and physical stamina to lift up to 70 lbs. Prior grocery/food experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in grocery or related field.
• Dependable with outgoing, friendly behavior and positive attitude.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team environment.
• Able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing healthy options and prepare fresh, easy meals.
• Provide high levels of customer service and ensure deli items are prepared, packaged, and presented cleanly.
• Fill, rotate, and maintain products and displays in the deli area.
• Prepare special orders and party trays.
• Operate deli equipment safely and maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy and quality.
