Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).

• Current food handler permit upon employment.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Any management experience.
• Any deli/retail experience.
• Second language helpful.
• Promote trust and respect among associates.

Responsibilities

• Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
• Maintain a safe, clean department environment.
• Monitor department functions and ensure QA standards.
• Assist in achieving department sales and profit goals.
• Communicate store policies and promotions to associates.
• Plan and manage inventory, CAO, and shelf tagging.
• Schedule staff to meet customer volume.
• Ensure proper temperatures and food safety logs.
• Report safety risks and incidents.
