Job summary

Raymer Oil is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member for our hometown store. You will greet customers, provide quick, accurate service, prepare products for sale, and help keep the store clean and well stocked.

Requirements include being at least 18 years old, able to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally, good reading comprehension, effective communication and teamwork to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Purpose and Mission Statement: Raymer Oil and its employees pledge to put customers first by:

• Supplying a variety of products that meet high quantity, quality, and freshness standards.

Essential Duties:

• Prepare product for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, and pricing and serving).
• Maintain product level, quality, and freshness
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area, and sales area.
• Communicate customer requests to management
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor and complete temperature chart.
• Keeps supplies neat, clean, and tidy at all times.

Other Duties:

• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Performs front end duties to insure “no noticeable wait” standard is maintained.
• Announce specials and sale info to the customer when serving.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.

Requirements

• Ability to sustain repetitive arm and hand motion.
• Ability to reach above shoulders and horizontally to stock and retrieve inventory.

Work Environment:

• Ability to work under a variety of conditions and temperatures, wet and dry, for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work safely with box cutters and grocery equipment.
