Raymer Oil- IGA is seeking a customer-focused team member to greet shoppers, prepare products for sale, and maintain cleanliness across the store environment. You will help keep shelves stocked, assist customers with requests, and participate in front-end duties to minimize wait times.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and physical stamina to lift and move groceries throughout shifts in a busy store setting.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Lift 25 lbs consistently; 50 lbs occasionally.
• Read and understand information and directions.
• Effective customer service, selling, and communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Push/pull a loaded grocery cart unassisted.
• Climb and balance on a step stool/ladder.
• Sustain repetitive arm and hand motion.
• Reach above shoulders to stock and retrieve inventory.

Responsibilities

• Prepare product for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, and pricing).
• Maintain product level, quality, and freshness.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area, and sales area.
• Communicate customer requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keeps supply area neat, clean, and tidy at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Performs front end duties to insure “no noticeable wait” standard is maintained.
• Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
