• Exhibit and develop maximum customer relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
• Promote morale within department and store with professional communication.
• Maintain good relations with other department managers to improve store sales.
• Lead deli department activities and coach team members.
• Cost out materials to determine proper retails and margins.
• Plan merchandising programs to boost sales and cross-merchandising.
• Control department labor and inventory within budgets and guidelines.
• Maintain department records and ensure proper security per company policy.
