Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, culinary, deli, restaurant, kitchen management, cooking or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Deli manager with all departmental functions.
• Interviewing, training, development. Establish and maintain a positive work environment.
• Manage inventory and pricing, including signage, to achieve required margin and labor targets.
• Oversee sampling of department products to customers and ensure quality.
• Follow procedures on health, sanitation, and Weights & Measures; maintain safe work practices.
