SpartanNash is seeking a dedicated department lead in Wyoming, MI to manage day-to-day operations in a retail store. You will supervise staff, ensure training, maintain inventory, and drive results against company goals and KPIs.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and a working knowledge of retail systems. You will collaborate across teams to optimize schedules, control labor, and improve product availability and guest experience.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and bookkeeping skills.
• Good organization, prioritization, decision-making, problem solving and conflict management.
• Strong leadership abilities with capability to work in a hands-on environment.
• Knowledge of retail store operations and retail management systems.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Spanish communication skills may be desirable depending on location.

Aufgaben

• Order and maintain inventory in your department, ensuring product freshness and quality.
• Review and validate received orders for amount, quality, count or weight, condition, and proper storage.
• Lead a team to complete stocking, production, and related tasks with focus on quality and date rotation.
• Maintain familiarity with products in the department and store.
• Know ad items, special prices, coupon deals, and rewards programs.
• Communicate and execute weekly and period flight plans to company standards.
• Support scheduling, labor control, overtime control, and payroll expense for the department.
• Implement Our Winning Recipe and model core values.
• Develop and monitor department goals and forecasts.
• Attend daily huddles and meetings as required.
