Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Department Lead to support the Deli Department Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining department standards. You’ll lead by example, coach team members, and ensure the department runs smoothly with a focus on hospitality and teamwork.

Responsibilities include labor scheduling, inventory accuracy, supporting ordering, and analyzing department performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, restaurants, hotels, or general business.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Ability to deliver exceptional guest experience while achieving performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Monitor labor schedules to meet productivity and budget goals.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and support ordering processes.
• Act as a resource for team members in the manager’s absence.
