Gourmet Gang, the deli division of Trolley Hospitality Companies in Richmond, is seeking a Deli Delivery Driver for our James Center location. You will ensure timely, accurate delivery of deli orders and maintain a high level of guest service.

Requirements include 18+ years old, a valid driver’s license, access to an insured vehicle, and experience with navigation tools (MapQuest, Google Maps). You will collect orders, deliver, handle inquiries, and keep delivery logs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver deli orders to customers in a courteous, timely manner.
• Collect deli orders from kitchen and verify items match the order.
• Address customer questions during deliveries and resolve issues professionally.
• Report feedback to the deli manager.
• Maintain an organized delivery schedule and logs for daily reports.
• Coordinate with the deli about delays or changes in delivery times.
• Assist with packing during peak times.

How You Will Make an Impact:

We are looking for a Deli Delivery Driver for our James Center location. This position is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of deli orders to customers, while maintaining a high level of service and professionalism.

Some typical tasks would be:

• Collect deli orders from the kitchen or deli counter, ensuring all items are correctly packed and match the customer's order.
• Deliver deli orders to customers in a courteous, timely and efficient manner.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns during deliveries and handle any delivery issues or discrepancies in a professional manner.
• Report any customer feedback or complaints to the deli manager.
• Maintain an organized delivery schedule to ensure all orders are delivered within the designated time window.
• Communicate with the deli regarding any delays or changes in delivery times.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and submit daily delivery logs or reports to the deli management team.
• Assist with packaging orders when needed during peak times.
• Monitor delivery supplies such as delivery bags, coolers, and equipment and report any shortages or replenishment needs to the deli supervisor.
• Market your zone by handing out flyers and cards to nearby businesses during your delivery drop-offs.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Must be 18+ years old
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
• Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
• Experience using navigational tools (MapQuest, Google Maps, etc.)
