Job summary

Broulim's ACE Hardware is seeking a Deli Clerk to be the face of the deli, delivering friendly service and providing customers with a wide selection of high-quality deli products. You will help slice and prepare items, create deli trays, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Ideal candidates have deli or customer service experience, knowledge of food safety, and the ability to operate deli equipment safely while maintaining a clean, organized counter and assisting with basic stocking

Qualifications

• Experience in deli or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products and preparation techniques.
• Ability to operate deli equipment safely.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Age requirements: 18+ to operate the slicer; 16+ to operate fryers/oven.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product information and recommendations.
• Slice, weigh, and package deli meats and cheeses to customer specifications.
• Create and assemble deli trays and platters for special orders, events, and catering orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the deli counter area, including regular sanitization of equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and stock deli products, rotating inventory to ensure freshness.

Job Summary

From slicing meats and cheeses to creating appetizing deli trays, your role is essential in creating a positive and delicious shopping experience.

Examples of Duties

• Assist customers in the deli department, offering product information and recommendations.
• Slice, weigh, and package deli meats and cheeses to customer specifications.
