FiveStar Food Mart is seeking a Customer Service Representative to create a friendly, quick, and safe shopping environment in Frankfort, KY. You will handle sales, keep the store stocked and clean, and promote specials on every transaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include: at least 18 years old, ability to multi-task, professional appearance and attitude, team player with excellent attendance.
• Physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 55 lbs, and working in varying shifts including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide FiveStar customer service by greeting, thanking, making eye contact, and engaging with customers, making them feel welcome and appreciated.
• Complete fast paced, accurate sales transactions on a register, and account for mistakes like voids or misprints.
• Prepare quality food using food service equipment (fryers, ovens, slicers, etc.) according to FiveStar guidelines and safety standards.
• Maintain PAR levels in the Deli (Cold and Hot).
• Promote FiveStar specials by informing customers and suggesting items during transactions.
• Clean and merchandise sales areas to keep products visually appealing and available.
• Clean floors, restrooms, parking lots, and other store areas.
• Practice safe working habits in line with company safety rules.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws and company policies.
