Job summary

ShopRite of East Hartford is seeking an energetic Associate to assist the Appy/Deli Manager in daily operations. You will maintain a clean, attractive department and help prepare products for sale while delivering friendly, efficient customer service.

Responsibilities include operating deli equipment, following safety and sanitation standards, and working as part of a team to ensure accurate pricing, restocking, and department organization.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic math skills are required for scorekeeping and portioning.
• Ability to operate deli equipment as listed.
• Ability to stand and lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Appy/Deli Manager in daily operations.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and visually appealing department.
• Prepare Appy/Deli products for sale and ensure quality and rotation.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, and pricing products.
• Display friendly, safe, and efficient service to customers.
• Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
